John and Connie Nicholas have been in music ministry for more than thirty years, playing in a wide variety of settings; from formal concerts to worship services, coffee house background music, and private groups. Their desire is to go wherever God sends them for His purpose. They love blending sounds and styles to create unique and interesting music on their various instruments.
Part of their ministry is sharing their faith story, how God works in their lives as they go through the trials and triumphs that come with everyday living. Their desire is to uplift local ministries and congregations, through ‘psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs’, encouraging them to fight the good fight and not grow weary in well doing.
John has worked as a manufacturing engineer and woodworker and is responding to God’s call in writing songs and ministering through music. Connie has worked as an office manager using her organizational and accounting skills and was a certified Lay Speaker. They raised their four children in southern Wisconsin, last lived in a small town in central Illinois, and have since lived full-time in their fifth wheel RV using their talents in a volunteer work ministry called SOWERs (Servants On Wheels Ever Ready) and sharing their music ministry wherever they are. Learn more about SOWERs. In December 2022 they purchased property in north east Mississippi to use as a home-base when they are not on the road.
